Accumulator head machines - TA Series

The extrusion-blow moulding machines with accumulator head of the TA Series – featuring closed-frame symmetric clamping units – have been the hallmark of ST BlowMoulding for many years under the ST Soffiaggio Tecnica, Zaga and Meico brands.

Most TA models are also available with two cylinders vertically aligned on each side of the clamping unit: the best design for clamping force distribution on long moulds. Customer requirements on this purpose have led us to develop TA models at 3600 kN clamping force, for moulds of up to 3m in height.
The TA Series shares the same melting technology as the ISIT Series (high-efficiency adiabatic extruders: great throughput with low energy consumption) and the same accumulator heads (overlapping heart-shaped melt distributors, suitable for a great variety of plastic materials).
Variable speed hydraulic pumps with state-of-the-art control software minimize power consumption of machine movements. Thanks to such design choices, most models of the TA Series reach the highest category of merit for energy efficiency according to the Euromap 46.1 procedure for extrusion-blow moulding machines (class 10: less than 0.29 kWh/kg of HDPE).
